Mini Tater Tot Cheeseburgers
Ingredients:
– 1 lb ground beef
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
– 24 tater tots, cooked and crispy
– 6 slices cheddar cheese, cut into small squares
– 12 small pickle slices
– 6 cherry tomatoes, sliced
– Lettuce leaves, cut into small pieces
– Mayonnaise, for serving
– Ketchup, for serving
– Toothpicks, for assembly
Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
2. Divide the beef mixture into 12 small patties, roughly the size of the tater tots. Flatten them slightly and set aside.
3. Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Cook the mini beef patties for 2-3 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through.
4. In the last minute of cooking, place a small square of cheddar cheese on top of each patty to melt.
5. To assemble, place one tater tot on a plate, followed by a cheeseburger patty. Add a slice of pickle, a cherry tomato slice, and a piece of lettuce.
6. Top with a second tater tot to complete the mini burger. Secure with a toothpick.
7. Serve with mayonnaise and ketchup for dipping, and enjoy these adorable mini tater tot cheeseburgers!
