Crispy Chicken Parmesan 

Ingredients:
For the Chicken:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts 
1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably Italian-style) 
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 
1 cup flour 
2 eggs, beaten 
1 tsp garlic powder 
1 tsp onion powder 
Salt and pepper to taste 
1 cup marinara sauce 
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese 
Fresh basil leaves for garnish 
Olive oil for frying



Directions:
Prep the Chicken:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Butterfly the chicken breasts to make them thinner or use a mallet to gently flatten them.
Bread the Chicken:
Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with grated Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in the egg, and coat in the breadcrumb mixture.
Fry the Chicken:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the breaded chicken and cook for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and place on a baking sheet.
Assemble and Bake:
Spoon marinara sauce over each chicken breast, and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and melted.
Garnish and Serve:
Garnish with fresh basil leaves, and serve with your favorite side of pasta or a fresh salad!
