Ingredients:
4 pork sausages (Cumberland or your favorite breakfast sausages)
4 slices of bacon (preferably British back bacon)
4 eggs
2 large tomatoes, halved
1 can (14 oz) baked beans
4 slices of black pudding (optional)
8 button mushrooms, halved
4 slices of bread (for toast)
Butter, for toast
Salt and pepper, to taste
Ketchup and brown sauce (optional, for serving)
Instructions:
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sausages and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through. Add the bacon to the skillet and cook until crispy. Remove both from the skillet and set aside, keeping warm.
Cook the Black Pudding (Optional):
In the same skillet, cook the black pudding slices for 2-3 minutes on each side until crispy. Set aside.
Sauté the Mushrooms and Tomatoes:
In the same skillet, add the halved mushrooms and cook for 5-6 minutes until golden brown. Season with salt and pepper. Add the tomato halves, cut side down, and cook for a few minutes until slightly softened.
Cook the Eggs:
In a separate skillet, cook the eggs to your liking—fried, scrambled, or poached. Season with salt and pepper.
Heat the Baked Beans:
Warm the baked beans in a small saucepan over low heat until heated through.
Toast the Bread:
Toast the slices of bread and spread with butter.
Assemble the Full English Breakfast:
Arrange the sausages, bacon, eggs, black pudding (if using), mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans, and toast on a large plate.
