Spicy Cajun Steak with Creamy Alfredo Pasta

Spicy Cajun Steak with Creamy Alfredo Pasta
Ingredients:
1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin), sliced into strips
12 oz fettuccine pasta
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 small onion, diced
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:

Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Season the steak strips with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sear the steak for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your preferred doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of butter and sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens and becomes creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add the cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat the pasta evenly.
Return the steak strips to the skillet and stir to combine with the pasta and sauce.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
