WOULD YOU EAT THIS TREMENDOUS CROCKPOT RIBS FEAST
Ingredients:
2 racks of baby back ribs (about 3 lbs total)
1 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite brand)
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
Instructions:
Prepare the Ribs:
Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs if it’s still attached. This can help the seasoning and flavors penetrate better. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.
Mix the Seasoning:
In a small bowl, combine smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, black pepper, and salt. Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs.
Prepare the Sauce:
In a separate bowl, mix together barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, and honey. Stir until well combined.
Cook in the Crockpot:
Place the ribs in the crockpot, stacking them if necessary. Pour the barbecue sauce mixture over the ribs, making sure they are well coated.
Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours, or until the ribs are tender and easily pull apart.
Optional Finishing Step:
For a caramelized finish, preheat your oven broiler to high. Carefully transfer the cooked ribs to a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Brush with additional barbecue sauce and broil for 3-5 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbly and slightly charred. Keep an eye on them to avoid burning.
Serve:
Slice the ribs between the bones and serve with extra barbecue sauce on the side. Enjoy with your favorite sides like coleslaw, baked beans, or cornbread!
This Crockpot Ribs Feast is perfect for a hassle-free, flavorful meal that’s sure to please everyone at the table.
