Cheesecake Deviled Strawberries
Ingredients:
1 pound fresh strawberries
8 oz cream cheese, softened
¼ cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ cup graham cracker crumbs (optional, for garnish)
Directions:
Prepare the strawberries: Wash and dry the strawberries. Cut off the tops and gently hollow out the centers using a small paring knife or melon baller to create space for the cheesecake filling.
Make the cheesecake filling: In a medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Fill the strawberries: Spoon or pipe the cheesecake filling into each hollowed-out strawberry. If you have a piping bag, it will give a beautiful presentation, but a small spoon works just as well.
Garnish: Sprinkle the tops of the filled strawberries with graham cracker crumbs for a little extra crunch and flavor, if desired.
Chill and serve: Place the stuffed strawberries in the refrigerator to chill for about 20 minutes before serving. Enjoy this delightful dessert cold!
