Grandma’s Old-Fashioned Bread Pudding with Vanilla Sauce 
This comforting bread pudding is a classic dessert with a rich vanilla sauce that brings a touch of nostalgia to your table.
Ingredients:
– 4 cups (8 slices) cubed white bread
– 1/2 cup raisins
– 2 cups milk
– 1/4 cup butter
– 1/2 cup sugar
– 2 eggs, slightly beaten
– 1 tablespoon vanilla
– 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Sauce Ingredients:
– 1/2 cup butter
– 1/2 cup sugar
– 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
– 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
– 1 tablespoon vanilla

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
2. In a large bowl, combine the cubed bread and raisins.
3. In a saucepan, heat the milk and butter over medium heat until the butter is melted. Pour over the bread mixture.
4. Stir in the sugar, slightly beaten eggs, vanilla, and nutmeg. Mix until well combined.
5. Pour the bread mixture into the prepared baking dish.
6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the pudding is set and the top is golden brown.
7. While the pudding is baking, prepare the sauce. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the sugar and brown sugar until dissolved.
8. Add the heavy cream and vanilla, stirring until the sauce is smooth and heated through.
9. Serve the bread pudding warm, drizzled with the vanilla sauce.
