WOULD YOU EAT THIS TREMENDOUS FULL ENGLISH BREAKFAST FEAST
Ingredients:
4 sausages
4 rashers of turkey bacon
4 eggs
2 cups button mushrooms, sliced
1 can (14 oz) baked beans
2 tomatoes, halved
4 slices of bread (for toasting)
4 hash browns (optional)
Black pudding (optional)
Butter (for frying)
Salt and pepper (to taste)
HP Sauce or ketchup (for serving)
Instructions:
Cook the Sausages:
In a large skillet or frying pan over medium heat, cook the sausages until browned and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Fry the Bacon:
In the same pan, cook the bacon until crispy, turning occasionally. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Cook the Mushrooms:
Add a small knob of butter to the pan, then sauté the mushrooms until golden and tender. Season with salt and pepper.
Grill the Tomatoes:
Place the tomato halves, cut side up, in the pan and cook until they soften and start to char, about 5 minutes.
Prepare the Beans:
Heat the baked beans in a small saucepan over medium heat until warmed through.
Fry the Eggs:
Fry the eggs in butter in a separate pan, or in the same skillet, to your preferred doneness. Season with salt and pepper.
Toast the Bread:
Toast the bread slices until golden brown and butter them generously.
Cook the Hash Browns and Black Pudding (Optional):
If using hash browns and black pudding, fry them until crispy and heated through.
Assemble the Breakfast:
On a large plate, arrange the sausages, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, eggs, baked beans, toast, and any optional components.
Serve:
Serve your full English breakfast with HP Sauce or ketchup on the side.
