WOULD YOU EAT THIS ENGLISH BREAKFAST
Ingredients:
4 sausages
4 strips of turkey bacon
4 eggs
1 can of baked beans
4 slices of black pudding (optional)
2 large tomatoes, halved
8 button mushrooms, halved
4 slices of bread (for toast)
Butter (for spreading on toast)
1 tbsp vegetable oil (for frying)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Cook the Sausages and Bacon:
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add sausages and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until browned and cooked through.
In the same skillet, add bacon and fry until crispy. Remove both sausages and bacon and keep warm.
Fry the Tomatoes and Mushrooms:
In the same skillet, add halved tomatoes, cut side down, and fry for 3-4 minutes until softened.
Add mushrooms and cook until browned and tender. Season with salt and pepper.
Cook the Black Pudding (Optional):
In the same skillet, fry black pudding slices for 2-3 minutes on each side until crispy.
Heat the Baked Beans:
While the other ingredients are cooking, warm the baked beans in a small pot over low heat.
Cook the Eggs:
In a clean skillet, fry the eggs sunny side up or to your preferred style.
Toast the Bread:
Toast slices of bread and spread with butter.
Serve:
Arrange sausages, bacon, eggs, baked beans, black pudding, tomatoes, and mushrooms on a large plate.
Serve with buttered toast on the side.
