Ingredients:
1 lb chicken tenders
1 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 cups all-purpose flour
Vegetable oil for frying
For the Creamy Herb Dip:
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon chopped fresh herbs (parsley, dill, or chives)
1 clove garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Directions:
In a bowl, combine buttermilk, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken tenders, ensuring they are well coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
Place flour in a shallow dish. Remove chicken from the marinade and dredge in flour, shaking off excess.
Fry the chicken tenders in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per batch. Drain on paper towels.
For the dip, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, fresh herbs, minced garlic, lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper.
