Classic BLT Sandwich
Ingredients:
8 slices of toasted bread
12 slices of crispy bacon
4 leaves of romaine lettuce
2 large tomatoes, sliced
1/2 cup mayonnaise
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Cook the Bacon: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels. Toast the bread slices.
Prepare the Sandwiches: Spread a generous amount of mayonnaise on each slice of toasted bread.
Layer the Ingredients: Place 3 slices of crispy bacon on one slice of bread, followed by a lettuce leaf and 2-3 slices of tomato. Season the tomatoes with a pinch of salt and pepper. Top with another slice of bread.
Repeat: Repeat the process for the remaining sandwiches.
Serve: Cut each sandwich in half diagonally and serve immediately.
