WOULD YOU EAT THIS TREMENDOUS CHICKEN SPAGHETTI CASSEROLE DELIGHT
Ingredients:
12 oz spaghetti, cooked and drained
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes and green chilies, drained
1 cup chicken broth
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 small onion, diced
1/2 green bell pepper, diced
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp butter, for sautéing
Instructions:
Sauté Vegetables: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced onion and green bell pepper, sautéing until softened, about 5 minutes.
Mix the Casserole: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti, shredded chicken, sautéed veggies, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, diced tomatoes and green chilies, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and 1 1/2 cups of the shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until everything is evenly combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Assemble: Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Spread it out evenly, then top with the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese and grated Parmesan cheese.
Bake: Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and the cheese on top is golden brown.
Serve: Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
