Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
8 oz noodles (such as rice noodles, egg noodles, or spaghetti)
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp ginger, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 cup beef broth
1/2 cup sliced green onions
1/2 cup shredded carrots
1/2 cup snap peas or bell peppers, sliced (optional for extra veggies)
Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Cook the Beef: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Add the minced garlic and ginger, and cook for another minute until fragrant.
Brown the Beef: Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until fully browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
Add Sauces and Sugar: Stir in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, and brown sugar. Mix well to combine. Pour in beef broth and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce has slightly thickened.
Combine with Noodles and Vegetables: Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce. Stir in the green onions, shredded carrots, and optional snap peas or bell peppers. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through and well combined.
Serve: Garnish with sesame seeds if desired. Serve hot.
