WOULD YOU EAT THIS HEAVENLY PINEAPPLE BANANA SPLIT CAKE
Ingredients:
1 box yellow cake mix (plus ingredients listed on the box)
1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
2 bananas, sliced
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 container (8 oz) whipped topping
1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
1/2 cup chocolate syrup
1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Maraschino cherries, for garnish
Instructions:
Prepare the yellow cake mix according to the instructions on the box. Bake in a 9×13-inch baking dish and let it cool completely.
In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Fold in the whipped topping.
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled cake.
Layer the drained crushed pineapple and sliced bananas on top of the cream cheese layer.
Arrange the sliced strawberries over the fruit layer.
Drizzle the chocolate syrup generously over the top of the cake.
If desired, sprinkle with chopped nuts for added crunch.
