Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake
Ingredients:
1 (21 oz) can strawberry pie filling
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 (15.25 oz) box yellow cake mix
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup milk
Fresh strawberries (optional for garnish)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Prepare the Cheesecake Layer:
In a medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Assemble the Dump Cake:
Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly over the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Spoon dollops of the cream cheese mixture over the pie filling, creating an even layer.
Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the top of the cream cheese and strawberry layers.
Add the Butter and Milk:
Pour the melted butter evenly over the top of the dry cake mix. Drizzle the milk over the cake mix as well, making sure to cover as much of the surface as possible.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly. The edges should be slightly crisp.
Cool and Serve:
Let the Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake cool for about 10-15 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh strawberries if desired.
Serve:
Serve warm or at room temperature, topped with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for an extra indulgent treat!
